irc.SHOUTcast.com testlink approved by US-Admins

Today, the US-Admin voting body approved the trial link application from NullSoft for irc.shoutcast.com.

The vote passed with the widest margin in recent memory, with a 88.8% majority. The new US server admin, Michael "deppy" Clay, is no stranger to EFnet. He first began opering on EFnet in the 1990s on irc.lightning.net, and is currently a global IRCop on irc.servercentral.net.

Mike's IRC server is sponsored by NullSoft, and physically resides on the ATDN at AOL, in Dulles, VA. Mike's co-admin is Andrew "amonbish" Fong. They've linked the server to EFnet completely open I:line, accepting clients from anywhere in the world. The trial link period will last for 45 days, starting today, after which permlink status will be granted if it's merited.
