irc.csbnet.se moves and is renamed to irc.dataphone.se

Due to several reasons, the administration of irc.csbnet.se has chosen to relocate their server to a Swedish provider named Dataphone.

The new server will be named irc.dataphone.se and will keep the same policies as csbnet regarding user connections. It is still unsure at this time if the old hostname, irc.csbnet.se will be pointed towards the new server, but its not likely.

This server has been linked to EFNet since 5 weeks after "The Split" with IRCnet in `96, and has changed names quite a few times. irc.gd.gu.se -> irc.ced.chalmers.se -> irc.hemmet.chalmers.se -> irc.csbnet.se -> irc.dataphone.se

The server will be linked Sunday evening or Monday and will run parallel with irc.csbnet.se for some days.

the good thing is another ISP has agreed to host an EFNet server, and with today's animosity towards IRC thats a big plus.

I`m glad i didnt say which sunday evening or monday it would be linked... as it seems the admins arent actually following their timeframe on this

i could be wrong... but i think the time mentioned was when it would be up and running and if anyone wants to check it out... i dont think it will be actually linked until a few more days.
