irc.blackened.com is back!

The admins of irc.limelight.us announced earlier today that they would change the server's name to irc.blackened.com. The hub server ircd.limelight.us will remain the same.

The original irc.blackened.com was an old EFnet server and the first IRC server, in March 1998, to the break 4000 clients barrier. In September 1998, it broke the 8000 concurrent connections barrier.

Today, the server has some of the same admins as back then, mjr and crusher. They later added logo to handle the day to day issues.

Hehe. Welcome back! I remember when the original left, it actually held a lot of EFNet's clients. Now if only the motd completely reflects the changes.
