irc.isdnet.fr has delinked.

irc.isdnet.fr just announced that they have permanently delinked their server from EFnet.

The main reason for the delink is that their contacts at the ISP hosting the server have faded away during the past 3-5 years. Isdnet was bought up by Cable&Wireless years ago, and now just a few months ago, the division hosting the server was bought by Tiscali.

The server had been linked since October 2000, following the footsteps of irc.ec-lille.fr which was linked in 1996. It allowed European connections and has had a steady userbase holding 3000-4000 connections.

Sad to see this server go.... it was the first server i ever connect to ;/
