Part-msgs?

I noticed today, that some servers actually supports part-msgs, is this a new feature? I mean, will we see this on all server from now on? or is this just something that should be disabled or something like that..

i believe this has been supported for a long time, just no one ever uses it

I've only started seeing it for the recent months. The support might've been in there, but I don't recall ever seeing any server allow it on EFNet until recently. I remember trying to see if it works on EFNet a while back, after seeing how some people /part with angry messages on other networks.

I did search, but i didnt find, therefor the question was brought up
And, the only server i've found with it enabled is homelien, so I was just wondering.

But atleast i got my answer

Its enabled on any hyb7/ratbox servers, and the part messages wont propagate through a hyb6 hub [which all of the eu hubs are].
