For more information on Dronemon, you can contact its author by messaging 'powuh' on EFNet.

Without revealing the inner "secrets" of dronemon, I can give you a short description of the capabilities of this daemon. As far as I know, the source and changelogs of this client is still an "opercircle only" thing.

In short terms, this bot can do:

- CTCP version matching and D/K-lining of specific matches (dronelike versions, or versions violation server rules)
- Matching of specific nick/ident/gecos patterns and D/K-lining the specific matches.
- Rapid connection warnings (example, 60 clients connecting in 10 seconds)

Some servers kline different CTCP replies depending on the rules of using the service (some serves allow iroffer bots, others dont, etc)

In other words, nothing fishy or scaring for people who aint got nothing to hide.

Cheers,

sealie

Unfortunately that is not up to me to answer, you can always ask powuh via pm or msg on IRC.

Dronemon is a pretty nice thingy. Lost of nice features to catch abusive drones, with the power from regex.

Some cool stats from our dronemon;

Online for 4 days, 15 hours, 8 mins, 47 secs
2347169 client connections parsed. 11488 clients in memory hash.
25709 client connections auto-klined for nick!user@host#gecos match.
1328 client connections auto-klined for ctcp version match.
2303 clients dlined for connect hammering.
1008 manual finds, 32 manual klines, 28 manual dlines, 253 spam related klines.

23 nick!user@host#gecos auto-kline patterns.
4 ctcp version auto-kline patterns.
