new drone monitor appearing on some servers

hi,
as i connected to some efnet servers i saw a drone monitor ctcp version me. so my curiosity told me to ctcp version it back and i did. the reply was Dronemon version 1.5.0beta1 (20040212_1). i havent seen it on any websites and i was wondering if it was open source.

Without revealing the inner "secrets" of dronemon, I can give you a short description of the capabilities of this daemon. As far as I know, the source and changelogs of this client is still an "opercircle only" thing.
In short terms, this bot can do:
- CTCP version matching and D/K-lining of specific matches (dronelike versions, or versions violation server rules)
- Matching of specific nick/ident/gecos patterns and D/K-lining the specific matches.
- Rapid connection warnings (example, 60 clients connecting in 10 seconds)
Some servers kline different CTCP replies depending on the rules of using the service (some serves allow iroffer bots, others dont, etc)
In other words, nothing fishy or scaring for people who aint got nothing to hide.

Dronemon is a pretty nice thingy. Lost of nice features to catch abusive drones, with the power from regex.
Some cool stats from our dronemon;
Online for 4 days, 15 hours, 8 mins, 47 secs
2347169 client connections parsed. 11488 clients in memory hash.
25709 client connections auto-klined for nick!user@host#gecos match.
1328 client connections auto-klined for ctcp version match.
2303 clients dlined for connect hammering.
1008 manual finds, 32 manual klines, 28 manual dlines, 253 spam related klines.
23 nick!user@host#gecos auto-kline patterns.
4 ctcp version auto-kline patterns.

Its similar to Defender and secureserv in anope then i guess
