is it desirable to use EFnet RBL as filter for public web based irc clients which provides access to efnet servers ?
A web based clients may hide IP address from "real" user, so they may circumvent that blacklist. What is your optinion reagrding that

if you're referring to webchats, yes, you can use efnetrbl on your webchat.

my webchat uses now efnetrbl in intrusion prevention system, so undesired clients are blocked now. At this time it is an experiment. WWW users accesses webchat/EFnet gateway by http/IPv4 and gateway accesses EFnet server (xs4all) by IPv6. This xs4all server is nearest one, because there is no EFnet server in Germany.
