Whats with the anti-non-ident peeps?

I am not running identd, not bothered by it, so I have a twiddle ~ on the front on my hostmark, but why the ban?

other than some host specific bans, the only one i see is single letter idents with ~ (tilde).

i think this was to get some sort of floodbot or other. try having more than one letter

Well I fixed my ident, silly me didn't have it pointing right anyway.
