About this forum and the old one we had.
There has been made a decission to start all over with posts and user registration. So this is the new permanent forum.
However, we will try to get a hold of the old forum backup thats out there somewhere and put it up as a closed archive just for the fun of it.
I hope this forum will be as active as the old one was

Re: old forum
I agree, the old YaBB forum will only be there for historical reasons and as read only. There is a lot of good subjects and discussions thereDamn|t wrote:still think the new ver is way better and has more info
The speed subjects are added here i doubt it will be as big as it once were. Looks like we are running out of issues to debate onnexxai wrote:vBulletin is still the best though for large forums, such as this one. It just sucks that it costs to register. I'm sure someone here could take care of something like that though.

The thing to remember, is that this forum is mainly to provide discussion/help about the EFNet network... Most users do not worryfeer wrote:How is it possible for a 100k network to have 300 members registered on the forums?
I don't know how many were registered and active @ the old forums .. but 1 / 366 is pretty bad.
about how the network is run (nor are they required to).. EFNet is a tool for users to pursue their interests, which for us rare few, does include EFNet as well.

The reason why there are very little users on the forum in comparison with the users on the network is simple, this forum is English and does not discuss warez *hence, no f-servs available*.
equation : EFNET - (ENGLISH + WAREZ) = 300
equation : EFNET - (ENGLISH + WAREZ) = 300
