Proposal to UK ISPs

deww, to be fair, no I don't have issues connecting to US servers, however it does take longer, so I'd rather use an EU server, further more i'd rather use a UK server.
doug, i'm really not that interested in being an oper, I spend enough time on IRC it is, without having more responsibility, however, I remember back in the day when there was more than one UK EFnet server, and its was great!
demon does a good job, but like I said before, the more the merrier, why not.
I'm sure you could argue that servercentral provides excellent coverage for the majority of the US, yet we have more US servers. But again, why not.

Re: Proposal to UK ISPs
Well, I can't help you with a UK Server at this time. Sadly.
However, we do have a few servers linked to DALnet right now from the Southern United States (Atlanta, Georgia) to be exact. Anyhow, we (the ISP) will be adding more lines to our network in the near future, and are considering apply a link here, to EFnet.
So, if you are in need for a solid, US server... we may have one for you shortly. Our network has proven it self very well over time on DALnet, we know it can handle a large IRC server without question. We'll see I suppose.
