Hey,
I have this weird problem that when I want to connect with mIRC to efnet (also other networks) I get an error: 'Unable to resolve server' and after that my internet disconnects. Because I'm mostly on MSN I saw with their troubleshooter it couldn't find any DNS server anymore. So after trying to connect I have to restart my router or reconfigure it. I guess the problem has something to do with my DNS server but I can't find any decent information about it. When I google the error I mostly get problems like 'the server is down' etc, which is certainly not the case. Would be great if I can find a solution on this forum.

Re: Unable to resolve server, disconnect from internet
what server are you trying to use? and what are your firewall/proxy settings in mirc?
In God we trust,
Everyone else must have an X.509 certificate.

You might try using alternate DNS servers other than the ones assigned to you by your ISP.
Some reliable DNS Servers:
4.2.2.1

4.2.2.3
