connected to a server however can't join channels

hi,
here is my problem, i connected to one of your servers (based in nederland) , but i can't join the #xtv channel.

here is the reason : Permission Denied - You're not an IRC operator
i read the FAQ which explains what's an irc op is , but i didn't find out how i could get this status. moreover i can't contact anybody from the channel in order to give me the access, since I cant connect to it.

probably the channel is juped on whatever server you are on. try another server.
