Erroneous ban

I got home from work and found my computer restarted. When I brought IRC up and started connecting to various servers again, I was greeted with:

[17:18] -irc.efnet.pl- *** Banned too much abuse 7/12/02 (2002/07/12 19.55)

[17:18] Closing Link: ip##-###-##-###.om.om.cox.net (*** Banned )

My IP must have been reassigned during the restart. I've been on efnet for all of a week and a half when I started visiting a new chan. Prior to two weeks ago, I've only connected to efnet twice since 2001.

To whom can I provide my IP address to be unbanned?

if you really want to use efnet.pl, you can contact an oper or admin on that server to have the ban removed.

but since you are on cox.net, it might make more sense to use a US based server, as it will be closer to you and likely provide better servers. visit www.efnet.org/?module=servers for a complete server list.
