Connection Timed Out (Server) EFNET ONLY

Everytime I try to connect to a server on EFnet, I get connection timed out.
There are only ONE server that allow me to connect.

irc.inter.net.il - Used to allow my connection now reports Connection Timed Out
efnet.cs.hut.fi - Closing Link: 127.0.0.1 (You are not authorised to use this server)
irc.du.se - Accepts the connection

All the other servers just report Connection Timed Out.

I have talked to #help and they have no idea other then it might be a DNS issue.
But thats kind of out seeming it only affects EFnet.

I have no problems connecting with other IRC servers, only this one.
I'm using a 3G connection from Verizon Wireless, IP Range: 75.50.50.1-75.255.255.255

By the way, its not a DNS issue as I have no problem doing NSLOOKUPS on any server from my computer.

Since you got into #help some server connected you. Servers are not always consistent with whom they allow. Suggest trying it sever-by-server from list at http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers

I got into the #help channel via webchat.
and I have done server-by-server thats how I got that ONE server, its the only one that let me connect.
I know servers are consistent, but why would they ban an entire ISP over 99% of efnet?
As Im on a dynamic IP and no matter how many times I change my IP by disconnecting I still can't connect.

I've been having the same problem on the Verizon 3g network. After seeing this thread, I tried to find other servers beside the short list linked above.

I found a few more servers listed here: http://stats.efnet.org/

One that worked for me: irc2.choopa.net

I was one of the people who attempted to help you when you had this problem, and I do remember that you did eventually get connected with irc.du.se but I also remember you listing several other networks that you couldn't connect to in addition to EFnet. So, like I said in #help, this problem is most likely on your end.. rather your ISP's end. EFnet has close to 50,000 clients connected right now. If there was a mass connection issue on this network of individual servers, I doubt the user-base would be that high. Oh and.. I never suggested it was a DNS issue.

I appear to have the same problem, I think it's just that some servers only accept connections from some regions to save bandwidth.

I can connect to irc.du.se, however I think that it denies *.com. (I connect via .net.au).
