I keep on getting a "Access Denied Too Many Connections" error message when I try and log into any IRC.
What's going on?
I'm not a flooder or anything.
Please someone help me, for I am a noob.

Re: Too Many Connections Problem
I'm also having this problem, to almost the exact same extent. I was on just yesterday and it was working fine. The only thing that has been out of the ordinary since then is that my house experienced a brief black-out.
Re: Too Many Connections Problem
Too Many Connections means you have hit some sort of limit based on your connection info (ident, host/IP, subnet, etc)
If you are using a BNC, try using a different host or a server with a higher limit. Also make sure your ident is enabled and working properly, as many servers allow more idented connected than unidented connections.

Re: Too Many Connections Problem
I've tried to do these things, but considering I am highly inexperienced, I'm not sure if I was successful in actually attempting them. I still can't seem to get on. This is the only computer with this IP address that I know of. I've tried resetting my personal internet connection too, nothing seems to work.
Sorry if I'm just being a complete n00b.

Re: Too Many Connections Problem
I have this problem too. I only have one IP connected to this server so I don't see how this can be?
Re: Too Many Connections Problem
I saw you say in a similar thread that if we message you, you can add additional slots for our IP or something?
