I'm Banned.. I know why But it was a mistake.. Unban?

i know why i was banned.. i sent a link to a google maps mashup up of the fires in so cal... i know now that i can't send a url link so it was a mistake and i'm sorry. how do i go about getting back in?

FYI i tried the "/names altrock" that it suggest in the FAQ but nothing happened

only an op of #altrock can unban you. you can try asking the person who banned you (if it wasn't a bot), or ask a friend to join the channel and give you a list of ops in the channel. (note: it is not an opers duties to do this for you, and asking most opers to do this will result in a "no".)

it's possible it was only a temporary ban, and it has already been lifted. have you tried just rejoining yet?
