Scanners

Postby BeastNH » Sun Nov 14, 2004 11:32 pm

I am not sure if these are scanners or some sort of Mirc Exploit or what have you but just curious if Efnet is aware of them and if there are plans to do anything about them.

Example --

Ident BALDMAN@*.* == Ident is always the same and in CAPS but ISP Address changes

Ident rsm@*.*

Ident extra@*.*

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All three of these join a channel and then leave a few mins later without saying a word or doing any sort of channel action.

Thank you for your time

i dunno what the baldman@* are, but the other two aren't harmful. in fact, if you look for threads titled "##@$@%@^ spybots", you'll see what they're about. :-)
