irc.efnet.net is not a single server, but a round robin dns including 12 servers if a user gets banned, try /whowas user, and /stats p the server that user was on. AFAIK, irc.efnet.net points first to irc.prison.net, which is the least welcoming server on this network (they k-line people for idling...

This is not like some incidint where the channel itself rebels against its ops. There were only 2 ops invovled in the TO...the decision....etc. Everyone else is leaving now and my channel is dieing. The bots were not there to stop them from doing it...thier purpose was to protect from outside abuse...

Nice to see a RAW005 (compared to prison.net), but the maxbans is now 100 and modes +e/+I are not supported by this server. When a bot is supporting +e modes and it's owner is too lame to figure out that the bot ended up on the lame irc.nac.net server, it has the nice result of locking up a channel...

Right now efnet has 3 ipv6 servers. efnet.ipv6.xs4all.nl is a dedicated one while irc.homelien.no and irc.efnet.nl are combined ipv4 and ipv6. What happened with irc.aloha.net's IPv6 service ? Do you think efnet should expand with more ipv6-servers to have more coverage for those who wants to test ...

When trying to get a listing of the channels,it starts up,and then quits saying something like,channel list out put too big,truncated....what is this,and how do i fix it? Looks like it's no longer possible to do a /list , as Hybrid/RatBox will truncate it. I even tried getting a list from nac and p...

But how will a kline solve this? They will just move to the other server, and be more angry and just come back into the same channel or other channels. jump to another server which does not support g-lines, then use another compromized host to continue the job... Just jupe their lame channel already!
