the good thing is another ISP has agreed to host an EFNet server, and with today's animosity towards IRC thats a big plus.

I totally agree with Silence, more servers that support v6 would be nice, but the current ones are not close to their maximum... so its not a 'need'.
in regards to one in US, maybe HE.net can support one? as they have IPv6 set up and an EFNet server

hub.il is mostly linked for historical reasons, from back when EFnet had alot of DoS attacks and irc.inter.net.il was limited to israeli connections only.
